About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales across Malaysia.
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
Have good knowledge of B2B sales process especially in leads generation, follow ups, action plans to closing of deals.
Negotiate and close agreements with customers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs.
Liaise with Marketing and Business Development teams to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.
Manage designated sales team.
Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
Ensure follow up with customers for payments and various administrative requirements.
Any other duties as assigned by the company.

i. Leadership: This position requires strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate the sales team. Managers should be able to build a cohesive team and foster a positive work environment.
ii. Communication Skills: Both verbal and written communication skills are essential. They will need to effectively communicate with their team, customers, and other stakeholders.
iii. Strategic Thinking: Regional Sales Managers must develop and execute effective sales strategies. They must understand the market dynamics, customer needs, and how their products or services can fulfill these needs.
iv. Negotiation Skills: Negotiation is a crucial part of any sales role. They must be able to negotiate deals that are beneficial for both the company and the customer.
v. Financial Acumen: An understanding of financial metrics and forecasting is important. This is because managers need to set and manage budgets, set sales targets, and be accountable for the financial performance of their region.
vi. Customer Relationship Management: The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers is critical. This includes understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
vii. Technical Proficiency: Depending on the industry, a Regional Sales Manager may need to understand technical aspects of a product or service, use CRM tools, data analysis software, and other sales automation tools.

Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Electronic, Electric, Mechanical, IT Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Proven work experience of 4-6 years in solution sales.
Experience managing a sales team.
