About the Role
Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Technical Artist to join our game development team. As a Junior Technical Artist, you will bridge the gap between art and technology, ensuring that the visual elements of our games are brought to life seamlessly. Your expertise in both artistic and technical areas will be instrumental in optimizing art assets, implementing visual effects, and enhancing overall game performance.
Responsibilities and Duties
▪ Create and maintain 2D Spine animations.
▪ Arrange the game scene in game engines for game developers.
▪ Modify 2D assets, such as sprites, textures, and backgrounds.
▪ Create and implement visual effects and particle systems.
▪ Optimize graphics for performance and memory usage.
▪ Troubleshoot and debug graphics-related issues.
▪ Work with game designers and artists to ensure that the game’s graphics meet the desired aesthetic.
▪ Work closely with game developer to maintain and update the game scene when there are changes.
Requirement
▪ Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
▪ Experience with 2D Spine.
▪ Experience with Unity and/or Cocos creator.
▪ Experience with Photoshop.
▪ Experience in 2D/3D animation will be a plus.
