Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Hardware Pre-Production Engineer to join our team. As a Hardware Pre-Production Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, validating, and preparing hardware products before they enter the mass production phase. Your expertise will ensure that our hardware products meet quality standards and are ready for large-scale manufacturing.
Responsibilities and Duties
▪ Review and analyze hardware design documentation for potential issues or improvements.
▪ Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware prototypes to assess functionality and performance.
▪ Collaborate with the hardware design team to address any design flaws or improvements found during testing.
▪ Develop and document pre-production testing procedures and guidelines.
▪ Work with suppliers and vendors to source components and materials for pre-production builds.
▪ Assemble, configure, and test hardware prototypes according to design specifications.
▪ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or defects identified during pre-production testing.
▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software and manufacturing, to ensure product integration.
▪ Collect and analyze test data to provide insights for design improvements and optimization.
▪ Assist in transitioning from pre-production to large-scale manufacturing, providing support during initial production.
Requirement
▪ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
▪ Proven experience in hardware development, pre-production testing, or a similar role.
▪ Strong knowledge of hardware components, circuits, and testing methodologies.
▪ Familiarity with hardware design tools and testing equipment.
▪ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
▪ Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
▪ Good communication and technical documentation skills.
▪ Experience in product validation and testing processes.
▪ Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control for hardware products is advantageous.
