About the Role
Essential Functions:
To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
• Responsible for sales and marketing at Northern region of Malaysia.
• To establish business opportunities by identifying new prospects in healthcare diagnostics industry.
• To build good client relationships by identify clients’ needs, developing appropriate sales strategy, providing support and recommending solutions to meet their demand.
• To achieve sales target set by the team management
• To identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales & business options
• To market, promote & sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions
• To generate leads and efficiently keeping in regular contact with existing prospects
• To present and conduct Continuing Medical Education (CME) to the collaborating clinics, hospitals, laboratories
• To understand and keep up-to-date with constant developments in the molecular diagnostics healthcare industry. E.g. identifies product improvements or new products on industry trend, and competitors
• To prepare reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information
• To create weekly/monthly forecasts on revenue/target management of the assigned region and assist in generating end of month reports on revenue and market performance
• To deliver against these targets to ensure revenue expectations are met
• To maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending conferences, workshops, participating in professional societies
• To work in team for developing of bespoke campaign to relevant prospects
• To input into sales and marketing collateral – how the business positions itself for various audiences
• To maximise networking opportunities and regularly using conferences, events and trade shows to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts.
Requirement:
• Min SPM/STPM/Diploma in biological/medical science background or in any related discipline
• Fresh graduates or 1 year working experience
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Hokkien (preferable)
• Able to work independently
• Knowledge of marketing, negotiation, business strategy, client management
• Self-driven, resourceful and wiling to strive for excellence
• Outstanding persuasion skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Result oriented, resourceful and personal drive
• Possess own transport and wiling to travel
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Without products knowledge but with sales experience is encourage to apply
