Job Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Hardware Manager to join our team to assist the Manager in overseeing the installation, maintenance, and management of hardware within an organization.
Assistant Hardware Managers support the Manager in overseeing hardware infrastructure, managing hardware projects, and ensuring the availability and proper functioning of computer hardware.
Responsibilities and Duties
▪ Oversee the installation and configuration of hardware and related components.
▪ Work with technicians or teams to ensure proper setup, connectivity, and integration of hardware devices, such as servers, computers, networking equipment, and peripherals.
▪ Planning and implementing hardware maintenance activities.
▪ Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance tasks, including hardware inspections, cleaning, and firmware or driver updates.
▪ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and upper management.
▪ Any other duties that are assigned by the superior.
Requirement
▪ Possess a minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
▪ Strong technical background and knowledge of computer hardware and infrastructure.
▪ Ability to oversee the installation, setup, and configuration of computer hardware and related components.
▪ Strong troubleshooting skills.
▪ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
