About the Role

Responsibilities: 

- Conduct business analysis and other fact-finding tasks to understand customer requirements. 

- Document related business process/workflow and functional/non-functional requirements to be fulfilled towards meeting the project objectives. 

- Do fit/gap analysis to produce a system design that is able to cater for all deliverables within the proposed solution.

- Bridge communication between customer and development team to ensure deliverables are within specifications to meet customer’s expectations. 

- Perform system testing and plan for User Acceptance Test (UAT) once the solution is ready. 

- Provide training to -customer’s key users as necessary. 

- Implement proposed solution and provide continual support to assigned customers when necessary.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in retail, merchandising and/or finance field preferred.

  • Good working knowledge and understanding of business processes and software development life cycle (SDLC) recommended.

  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English (oral and written). Ability to read, write and converse in a second major language would be an advantage.

  • Proactive, team player and willingness to learn are desirable qualities.

  • Knowledge in computer hardware, networking, POS, ERP, F&B and/or other SQL-based solutions; troubleshooting and problem solving skills would be an added advantage.

  • Willing to travel (domestic and international).
